Partners submit Widnes plan

Stobart Group and Prologis have submitted planning applications for the £90m Mersey Multimodal Gateway (3MG) hub in Widnes, four months after the two partners, together with Halton Council won £9m funding from the government’s Regional Growth Fund. Consultation is now under way, and, subject to a successful application, the project could be completed as early as autumn 2012.
