Pink freight for the Red Continent

[ August 19, 2019   //   ]

UK-based forwarder Trans Global Projects Group (TGP) recently delivered over 60,000 freight tonnes of modular machinery and equipment to a mining site in Western Australia.

The 62 modules were delivered to a mining site near Newman where the owner – a committed supporter of breast cancer awareness – encourages its suppliers to paint their equipment pink.

TGP chartered three vessels to carry the modules from Dalian, China, to Port Headland, Australia.  And  then carried the modules 400 km to the site.

Prior to being sent, the modules underwent a multifaceted decontamination process in order to adhere to Australia’s strict biosecurity requirements.
