Polet makes South America debut

Polet Airlines made its first appearance in South America on 7 January when UK-based ACS requested rapid transportation of a consignment of aircraft equipment. The Russian-owned carrier deployed its IL-96-400T freighter on the flight from East Midlands to Sao Paulo. It was also first time an aircraft of the type had operated to South America.
