[ November 11, 2025   //   ]

Portsmouth terminal and logistics operator Portico Holdings has appointed Simon Clarke as business development manager. He has run a towage service at Portsmouth International Port with Boulda Towage (formally SMS) for eight years and also has extensive industry knowledge from working at a marine marketing agency, representing overseas principals to UK ship owners and charterers,

Portico’s managing director, Steve Williams said: “We’re delighted Simon has joined the team as we head into an exciting period of transformation for the company. With development of our site underway we’re in a position to provide improvements for our current customers and also attract growth in other sectors as we create more space.”

The site is currently undergoing a £7m capital investment, including £4.8m of SEED funding from the Solent Freeport. This will enable quayside space, increasing cargo handling and the ability to attract new business.
