Portland unruffled by Olympics

[ July 20, 2012   //   ]

It will be business as usual for Portland Port despite the fact that the Dorset harbour will be in the thick of the 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Sailing events. It says that the games which start in Weymouth and Portland’s Olympic waters at the end of July will not impact on vessel services and commercial activities will continue as normal during the sailing competitions. There will be certain restrictions in place for visiting boats during the games such as vessel movements, speed restrictions and viewing areas – for details see: www.portland-port.co.uk/leisure/olympics
