Prestwick hosts China delegation

Glasgow Prestwick Airport has hosted a delegation from Air China Cargo to strengthen collaboration and boost Scottish exports.

The visit aimed to give the airline direct insight into Scotland’s high-value export industries, particularly whisky and seafood.

Airport chief executive, Ian Forgie said: “Prestwick Airport serves as a gateway for the UK’s exports, and this visit marks an important step in strengthening the links between our airline partners and the businesses that rely on them.”

In October, the airport will host another delegation from China Southern Air Logistics.
