Rainer Haag to be DHL Supply Chain Europe chief

DHL Supply Chain has appointed Rainer Haag as Europe chief executive. In his new role, Haag will oversee 16 Central European markets, reporting to DHL Supply Chain chief executive, Hendrik Venter.

Rainer Haag joined DHL Group in 2010 as Director Operations in Spain and his most recent role was as chief executive for Germany and Alps. He also oversaw the development of the DHL life sciences & healthcare hub to become a backbone of DHL’s global Health Logistics network.

Haag’s previous role for Germany will be assumed by Katrin Hölter, who has served as chief operations officer DHL Supply Chain EMEA since 2022.
