Ramsgate’s hopes raised

[ August 12, 2014   //   ]

Thanet council says that it is holding talks with potential ferry operators for the port of Ramsgate, the BBC reports. It follows publication of a business plan for the town’s port and harbour. The Kent port has been without a regular operator after TransEuropa went into administration.

The BBC reports Councillor Mike Harrison as saying that he could not name potential operators but opportunities are “in the offing”.
