Ray of January sunshine for the freight industry

While Europe to US reversed is recent performance gains, across all categories (air and sea, present and expected situation), other trade lanes performed well, with Asia to Europe in particular displaying a considerable month on month improvement. However, the improvement may be due to a seasonal uptick and the improvement may be temporary, it warns.
Shipping industry analysts are generally still gloomy; for air freight, the picture is less clear.
