Rhenus extends Mideast footprint

Rhenus Group has expanded its footprint in the United Arab Emirates, following nearly a decade of activity in the region. The forwarder will open an office in Abu Dhabi and it will introduce a new air-ocean service connecting the Far East with Europe and the Americas, with the UAE serving as a transshipment point. Elsewhere in the Middle East, Rhenus has been appointed as the official freight forwarder and on-site handling agent for events at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Centre.
