Rhenus raises the bar in India

German owned forwarder Rhenus Group has opened a logistics warehouse in Gurugram, near Delhi. The 32,500sq ft building sets new standards in India, it says offering 30,000 pallet spaces, 19 loading gates and 24-hour security. Sustainable aspects include solar roof panels and collecting and recycling water. Rhenus in Gurugram serves customers from the consumer and industrial goods, automotive, mechanical engineering and chemical sectors, among others and the site has good transport links to the Jaipur Highway, the Kundli-NabesarPalwal Expressway and the Delhi-Mumbai Corridor to Delhi and other parts of northern India.

The new warehouse is the 69th branch in India for Rhenus which operates .a total of 175,000sq m in over 30 logistics centres across the country.
