Rhenus sees opportunities offshore

[ February 27, 2017   //   ]

Rhenus Offshore Logistics is starting operation of two new offshore supply bases at the ports of Great Yarmouth and Aberdeen through its recently opened UK office.

After successfully supplying around 90% of all German wind farms since 2014, Rhenus Offshore Logistics entered the UK market in 2016 by opening its own representation in Lowestoft, near Great Yarmouth on the Eastern coast of Suffolk.

The supply bases provide cost-effective storage, cargo handling, offshore-certified container handling and provision, quayside management, stevedoring and all supply chain activities.

Rhenus offers a comprehensive logistical package based on regular cargo runs, whereby it coordinates and manage every aspect of supplying offshore assets. Dedicated project teams are responsible for all aspects of the scope including vessel charter, cargo handling, marine coordination, CCU provision and management, warehousing, goods receipt, port handling, port agency and whatever is required as part of an integrated turnkey logistics solution.

In addition, Rhenus Offshore Logistics provides crew transfer solutions by vessel and helicopter, buoy deployment, maintenance and recovery and a variety of other offshore logistical requirements.
