Rhenus to provide wings for Wings for Aid

[ July 8, 2019   //   ]

Rhenus Air & Ocean and unmanned aircraft specialist Wings for Aid are to explore for the feasibility of a ‘last mile’ delivery service for relief goods in disaster areas. Wings for Aid uses pilotless small planes and smart technology to land boxes of emergency aid with great precision in otherwise inaccessible places. Rhenus Air & Ocean will provide the logistics to get the delivery system to its destination, anywhere in the world.

The system can also be used for the planned supply of medicines in remote areas.
