Rhenus trucks run on renewables

Logistics specialist Rhenus is to put two vehicles into operation powered by renewable fuel supplied by Repsol. They will make a daily round trip between the Rhenus hub in Irun and the Robert Bosch plants in Aranjuez and Madrid. The trucks operate on 100% renewable biofuel produced from waste materials such as used cooking oil and forest residues, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 80% compared to conventional fuels, without requiring any changes to the vehicle fleet.
