Rijeka Gateway ready for September start

APM Terminals says that the Rijeka Gateway container terminal has entered its final testing phase with the arrival of its first container vessel – the M/V Cape Fulmar – and first test train – operated by ENNA Logic. The 1,440TEU M/V Cape Fulmar will dock for four weeks, serving as a platform for comprehensive training and testing of operational processes under real conditions. Training and testing will include planning, loading and unloading of various container types, cargo securing, and coordination of movements using terminal vehicles. The first trucks and trains with export cargo are expected in early September, ahead of the first commercial vessel’s arrival on 12 September.
