Shipping summit in Liverpool

A one-day International Maritime Trade and Infrastructure Summit will take place at the Exhibition Centre, Liverpool on 24 June as part of the International Festival for Business being held in the city. Delegates will get the latest information on The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, what the widening of the Panama Canal means for European freight and how businesses can access funding opportunities to gain a competitive edge.

Speakers will include former Deputy Prime Minister and Ship’s Steward, Lord Prescott; representatives from the Panamanian Embassy; the European Commission alongside Louise Ellman MP, Chair of the Transport Select Committee.
