Shortsea slackening foreseen

[ October 14, 2011   //   ]

Shortsea container carrier Unifeeder said that it would adjust its service to some north European ports in the face of a foreseen “drastic” slackening in imports from the Far East during the first half of November. This was due to the Golden Week Holidays in China in early October. Frequency would be reduced and port calls consolidated, it said. However, the line would maintain a minimum weekly call in all ports during the period, although they may be slight delays to some cargo.
