Sleepless in Hong Kong

[ May 27, 2021   //   ]

U-Freight Logistics has completed work on turning of its five Hong Kong hubs into a smart warehouse.

The company’s 21,000sq ft eCommerce fulfilment centre in Kwai Chung has been equipped with automatic guided vehicles and an intelligent racking system, and associated operating software supplied by RV Automation Technology Company.

The system analyses the weight and dimensions of  inbound consignments and then brings the most suitable storage rack to the operations staff to make maximum use of storage capacity and shorten processing time.

Even when operations staff have gone home for the night, the AGVs continue execute instructions and pre-arrange goods to be ready for pick/pack when they return to work.
