Software to speed cars through Southampton

[ June 1, 2021   //   ]

Associated British Ports has chosen Inform to provide a terminal operating system for trade car traffic   at its port of Southampton, which handles around 900,000 vehicles per year. It will provide a streamlined, fully integrated, terminal operating vehicle management system which covers all port side operations in a single application, including the planning and optimization of compound, resource, work, and damage management. Information about the condition, location, destination, and other information of each vehicle will be available at all times and the new software will be linked with new 5G compatible hand-held devices.
