South Wales haulier on growth track with funding package

Pontypool-based Freight Logistics Solutions (FLS) is creating up to 20 new jobs following a funding package from NatWest and the acquisition of Logiquanta in Lithuania.

The funding has enabled FLS to refinance and return to full private ownership. The company said the funding would strengthen its presence in European markets and support further growth at its South Wales headquarters, with new roles being created.

Founded in 2016, FLS offers tailored delivery solutions through a network of third-party providers across the UK and EU. The business has also developed software that helps customers measure the carbon impact of their supply chain.

NatWest’s loan also enabled the Development Bank of Wales to successfully exit its investment in FLS just four years after backing the company with £2.2 million.
