Southampton digs deep
[ December 5, 2012 // Chris ]Associated British Ports has gained a licence to dredge 450,000 cubic metres at Marchwood Moorings and widen the channel for larger container ships. It is part of the port’s programme to redevelop its 201/2 berths to handle the world’s largest vessels. ABP has worked closely with Marchwood Yacht Club to relocate 16 of its 150 moorings in preparation.
