Southampton racks up car trade

[ December 5, 2016   //   ]

Southampton Cargo Handling (SCH) has handled its 200,000th car of the year – the first time the port’s major handler of deep-sea ro-ro cargoes has exceeded that figure in more than 25 years of operations. The milestone was reached with the cargo loaded on the EUKOR Car Carriers’ vessel Morning Champion bound for the Far East. SCH also handles deep-sea shipments by Hoegh Autoliners, Glovis and NYK Line.
