DP World has released a new film about how it is extending its reach into the UK supply chain. It explains how the logistics solutions which it provides enable customers to move goods smoothly and efficiently in and out of the UK.

UK chief executive Ernst Schulze, said: “This film demonstrates our commitment to consolidating our place at the heart of Britain’s trading future, providing the right infrastructure, smart logistics solutions, and the benefits of Freeport status to our customers. Demand at our port-centric logistics park at London Gateway remains robust, utilisation of the new train linking our two UK terminals continues to grow, and we will extend our reach further into the supply chain in the coming months and years.”

Supply chain director, John Trenchard, added: “Businesses are looking for new and better solutions that make their logistics more efficient, more agile and more reliable, all whilst seeking specialised local-to-global expertise that can help move goods where others cannot. Customers have a growing need for partners who can provide more sustainable, cost-effective solutions to simplify complex logistics challenges. We believe in the UK market and have the ambition and the resources to boost growth, support businesses, create jobs and improve living standards.”

The 95-second film was made by London and Berlin-based production company Cat and Weasel working with leading European director Joshan Esfandiari Martin.
