Stena set to resume normal Holyhead schedules in July

Stena Line says it is set to return to a normal timetable as repairs at the port of Holyhead near completion.

It welcomed Holyhead Port announcement, on 8 May that repairs had been completed following storm damage in December, and that the port’s Terminal 3 is on schedule to go back into operation on 1 July.

While Stena Line has operated the same number of sailings since the reopening of Terminal 5 in January of this year, the timetable had to be adjusted while T3 remained closed.

Stena Line trade director (Irish Sea South), Johan Edelman, said: “While the frequency of our ferry services on the Dublin-Holyhead route have not been impacted by the closure of T3, we have had to make some minor adjustments to our sailing timetable. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our freight and travel customers for their understanding over the last number of months.”

He added: “Our customer service teams are already advising all our freight and travel customers about the imminent reopening of T3 and we will be updating our web booking and social media channels with the timetable adjustment which will come into effect from 1 July.”
