[ February 22, 2022   //   ]

Stena Line has completed a €1 million refit of its two largest ferries, the Stena Hollandica and Stena Britannica. The North Sea vessels, which sail twice daily between Harwich and Hoek van Holland, were in dry-dock in Antwerp for regular annual maintenance where they also received some new additions to onboard services. It has added a new additional duty free shop to each vessel, extending the retail floorspace on both ships by 40%. It is also offering dog-friendly cabins for the first time on the North Sea, with 15 of the vessel’s 500 cabins converted to allow passengers to travel together with their pets.
