Stena to march for Pride in London

[ June 20, 2022   //   ]

Swedish-owned Irish and North Sea ferry operator Stena Line is to take part in the Pride In London Parade for the first time, on 2 July.

Some 70 representatives of crews from the Irish Sea and the North Sea, as well as shore employees, will accompany the Stena Line float, which will be a replica of a Stena Line ferry built by the shipping fit-out company Maddens Marine.

It will be part of the line’s celebration of Pride across the company with the rainbow flag being flown on the company’s 37 ships and at its terminals across Europe throughout June to celebrate the company’s ongoing commitment to the LGBTQ+ community.
