Stena to run Holyhead-Belfast route

[ June 15, 2021   //   ]

Stena Line says it will run a temporary weekend service for passengers and freight between Holyhead and Belfast from Friday 25 June until Sunday 18 July to deal with an upsurge in holiday traffic.
Stena Estrid will provide the service with an estimated crossing time of about eight hours.
Stena Line says it is currently experiencing very high demand on its existing Belfast routes from Cairnryan and Liverpool. It will also allow travellers to bypass current travel restrictions between Britain and Ireland.
Stena Line has never operated from Holyhead to Belfast although its predecessor Sealink at one time operated a container service between the two ports.
