APM opens extended Suez terminal

APM Terminals has officially opened its extended Suez Canal Container Terminal (SCCT) in East Port Said. The US$500 million upgrade adds 955 metres of new quay and 510,000sq m of yard space, supported by 12 quay cranes, 30 electric RTGs, and more than 90 trucks.
