First renewables cargo for Port of Middlesbrough

AV Dawson, owner and operator of Port of Middlesbrough, handled its first international shipment of renewable energy pellets on 8 January. The 7,000 tonnes of recyclable fuel pellets made from recycled industrial plastic were processed by Waste Knot Energy (WKE) at its newly commissioned processing plant and storage facilities in the port.
