VAT rules change for port community services

The VAT rules have changed for some port community systems charges, reports BIFA in its latest newsletter. Some services that were previously zero-rated are now liable to standard-rate VAT, it says. Fake TAIA email warning

The British International Freight Association is warning of fake IATA e-mails that purport to come from IATA. The emails demanding payment for outstanding invoices generally end in @gmail or @yahoo, although some replicate @iata.org in the e-mail suffix.   [+]
