Containerships launches German-Dutch Teesport link

Containerships has added a new service between the southern coast of Spain, the west coast of the UK, and Ireland, calling at Liverpool, Dublin, Cadiz, Cartagena and Valencia. Containerships adds Rotterdam/Ireland sailing

Containerships is to increase the frequency of its BENI route between Rotterdam and Dublin from two to three per week from 3 February. The additional sailing adds leaves Rotterdam on Saturday and arrives in Dublin on Sunday evening. One loop of the service also services Dunkerque and Cork. [+]

New chief executive for Containerships

Rob Waterman has been appointed as chief executive of Containerships – CMA CGM GmbH based in Hamburg. He replaces Claude Lebel who is retiring. Waterman has been chief executive of CMA CGM (UK) Shipping since March 2013, based in Liverpool. [+]
