DHL signs freighter deal with SmartLynx Malta

DHL Express has signed a deal with aerospace firm SmartLynx Malta for two converted Airbus A321-200 freighters which will join the carrier’s European air fleet. Smartlynx Malta is planning to add two additional A321Fs during 2021 and up to four more during 2022, in pursuit of its goal to become one of the largest narrow-body cargo freight carriers within the next three years.
