New chief for European Shippers’ Council

Roman Stiftner was confirmed as the new president of the European Shippers’ Council at its board meeting on 19 October. He takes over from Denis Choumert, who has chaired the organisation for the last 10 years and will remain  a board member. A managing director of the Austrian Mining and Steel Association and president of the country’s BVL logistics organisation, he has been a board member of ESC since 2015. [+]
