MEPs vote in aviation emissions law

IATA calls for ETS postponement

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has called on the EU to postpone its planned Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) for aviation. Director general Tony Tyler said in a speech on 6 March that non-European states see the ETS as an attack on their sovereignty.   [+]
