EU cancels Cambodia trade access

The European Union has temporarily cancelled Cambodia's duty- and quota-free access to the EU market due to concerns over the country’s human rights record. The Asian country had previously enjoyed access to markets such as garments and footwear under the EU Everything But Arms trading terms for Least Developed Countries. The withdrawal of preferential access to the EU market affects about 20% of Cambodia's exports to the EU. [+]
