The Scottish Parliament's Economy, Energy and Tourism and Infrastructure and Capital Investment Committees visited the Port of Grangemouth recently on fact-finding missions inquiries into freight transport and exports. The first is looking into why small firms don’t export and the second is identifying the main obstacles to freight flows in Scotland and how these might be overcome.
