Hapag to buy DAL

Hapag-Lloyd has reached agreement to acquire the container liner business of Africa specialist DAL, subject to regulatory approval. DAL operates four liner services between Europe, South Africa and the Indian Ocean and has its own offices in Germany and South Africa as well as through third-party agents in 47 countries worldwide.
