BA to link Japan’s second city

British Airways/IAG is to introduce a four-times-weekly service between Heathrow and Osaka Kansai on 31 March next year, the only direct air route between the UK and Japan’s second largest city, it says. It will be operated by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. [+]

IAG to offer Pittsburgh flights

IAG Cargo is to launch a direct service from London Heathrow to Pittsburgh from 2 April 2019. It will run year-round, four times a week, operated by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, with a cargo payload of up to 14 tonnes per flight.     [+]

BA to offer Colgne-Bonn link

British Airways is to launch seasonal flights between London Gatwick and Cologne Bonn  airport between 16 November 18 until 29 March 2019. The four times a week A320 flights will offer limited cargo capacity and will operate on Thursday to Monday inclusive. [+]

Aer Lingus to fly Dublin-Seattle

IAG’s Aer Lingus arm is to start four-times-a-week services between Dublin and Seattle from 18 May. It will be operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft with a maximum cargo payload of 16 tonnes. [+]

We feel undervalued, says Norwegian

Norwegian Air Shuttle has rejected two bid offers from British Airways parent IAG. The latter already owns 4.6% of Norwegian, but is seeking a larger stake in the low-cost passenger and freight carrier. Norwegian said the it was undervalued. [+]

British Airways parent signs Dutch deal

IAG Cargo – which includes British Airways, Aer Lingus and Iberia – has signed an agreement with Netherlands-based general sales agent Globe Air Cargo NL, part of the ECS Group. ECS Group already represents IAG Cargo in Germany, Austria, and Scandinavia. [+]
