Basra handles biggest ever boxship

International Container Terminal Services (ICTSI)’s Basra Gateway Terminal has handled the largest ever container vessel to call at the Port of Umm Qasr in Iraq. The 16,000teu HMM Daon arrived on 19 March to be unloaded by the terminal’s three post-Panamax ship-to-shore cranes.
