New ships for Dutch short-sea specialist

Groningen, Netherlands-based short-sea industrial carrier Longship Group has placed an order for two multi-purpose Bijlsma Trader 6000 vessels of 6,080 deadweight tonnes and cargo capacity of 270,000 cubic feet, at Bijlsma Shipyard, Lemmer. The first is due to be delivered in the last quarter of 2021 with the second following in early 2022.
