Vancouver site smooths supply chains

Maersk and railroad company Canadian Pacific (CP) have opened a 117,000sq ft Pacific Transload Express facility to make Asia/Pacific Northwest (PNW) supply chains more resilient. It can transload international containers into domestic 53-foot trailers giving savings on domestic distribution, while reducing port demurrage and inland detention costs.
