Maritime Transport has launched a rail service between Tilbury2 ro ro terminal near London and Manchester’s Trafford Park Euroterminal, in partnership with P&O Ferries, which operates freight only ferries to and from Zeebrugge.
The DB Cargo-operated train runs five days per week from Monday to Friday and can carry 45' pallet-wide, 40', and 20' deep-sea containers - a total of 80 TEU in each direction.
