Container haulier Maritime Transport has been awarded Tesco's Primary Grocery and General Merchandise Haulier of the Year.
The award was in recognition of “the exceptional commitment, enthusiasm shown and high levels of service performance” in delivering internationally-sourced general merchandise products from port to the retailer's distribution centres.
The award was presented by John Clark, Tesco's primary operations manager at a recent supplier conference.
