Minster calls for Holyhead diesel checks

Northern Ireland environment minister Alex Attwood has promised to write to the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) asking it to step up enforcement action against truckers using illegal laundered diesel. He told the Northern Ireland Assembly at Stormont that more than half of Ulster hauliers could be using illegal diesel, in which chemicals have been used to remove marker dyes from diesel intended for agricultural use only. Redhead opens new Ulster hub

Logistics specialist Redhead International officially opened its new Northern Ireland depot in Mallusk, on 27 July. O licencing for Ulster

The Northern Ireland Assembly has unanimously passed the Goods Vehicles Licensing of Operators Transport Bill, bringing the O Licence regime to Ulster for the first time.
