IT firm makes temp-monitoring breakthrough

IT firm Sitaonair says it has a solution to the problem of monitoring temperature-sensitive goods in flight. In a demonstration with AirBridgeCargo Airlines, CargoLogicAir and OnAsset Intelligence at the Farnborough Air Show in July, it showed how data provided through sensors during the flight to its ground data management and dispatch platform, to monitor the inflight status of carriers’ goods.
