Not a container as such but a 20-foot container sized battery being delivered to Portsmouth International Port. Able to charge four electric cars simultaneously, it is the centrepiece of the Port Energy Systems Optimisation (PESO) project. Led by Marine South East (Commercial) and supported by the port alongside Swanbarton and Energy Systems Catapult, the scheme will demonstrate how a port can operate as a smart energy network. [+]
