Union signs Liverpool pay deal

Unite members working for Peel Ports Liverpool Container Terminal have voted to accept a pay deal that will see their pay rise by 10% over the next three years in addition to improvements to their terms and conditions. The union added that it also cements the end of agency labour within the port with dockworkers now employed directly by Port Authority Peel Ports. [+]
