Aer Lingus is reintroducing year-round transatlantic operations at Shannon airport in the west of Ireland. The Irish carrier is replacing its single Airbus 330s based at Shannon with two Boeing B757s and has launched a new service from Shannon to Boston, boosting the total number of US flights from the airport from seven to 13 a week – daily to New York and six times a week to Boston.
