Glasgow Prestwick Airport has marked one year since Air China Cargo launched scheduled freighter operations at the airport, a service that has grown from three to 11 weekly services to and from mainland China.
Air China Cargo now connects Prestwick with Chengdu, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, supporting inbound e-commerce and export capacity for Scottish producers.

The first Air China Cargo scheduled freighter service from Guangzhou, China, to Prestwick, Scotland landed at Prestwick on 2 June. Initially operating with three flights per week, the plan is to increase to seven per week.
