Somali link restored Feeder operator Simatech has introduced a container service between Dubai's Jebel Ali Port and Mogadishu in Somalia. Container services to Mogadishu was suspended some years ago due to the political situation in Somalia and the risk of piracy, forcing shippers to use break bulk operations using smaller vessels. Simatech said the service would operate fortnightly initially and would be upgraded to weekly soon. [+]
